Which Came First, the Chicken or the Tractor?

Since I’m not working for The (Wo)Man I said to Wolf I want us to get chickens this year. He wants to wait until next year because he wants to have a chicken tractor built before we get chicks.

Those of you with chickens, what do you think: Should the tractor be built first or should the chicks come first?

speaking from personal experience………..get the chickens. you’ll get your chicken tractor a whole lot faster that way!

That’s what I was thinking too.

I got the chickens first. Nothing like forcing yourself to build something to actually get it down.

I still have the seeds, waiting for Gina to email me back. She is moving and I want to be sure they get to her. Have posted about it this morning.

i want to raise chickens…too bad I live in the city.

am I still able to join this seed swap?

Erikka: You may be able to have chickens if you any sort of a back yard. Check the ordinances for JP.

Your name *is* on the list. Right now the seeds are in Kansas and will be heading to Ohio. I think you’re after Ohio.

We’ve decided to get adult chickens because there’s no place safe in this house for chicks, not with dogs and cats in a 600 sq/ft mobile home.

Nothing is going to happen until some of this damnedable snow has melted. The wood Wolf is going to use for the coop is buried and since there’s no where for the hens to roam right now waiting until mud season really is the smartest idea.

Respond now.
