Allergy Head
May 7, 2008
I’m stuffy. Stuffy and runny and sniffily. I was sneezy yesterday but now I’m just clogged up. I can feel the fluid running back into my ears.
I feel like crud. There is something which makes my allergies go haywire and I have no idea what it is. Every spring I go through this.
I’m miserable.
I’m sorry to hear it!
Have you ever tried using a neti pot? It’s kind of gross, but it helps a lot.
I really didn’t mean for that to rhyme.
Allie: your a poet. Did you know it?
What is a neti pot?
I’ve been looking everywhere for a neti pot. My co-worker swears by hers.
Sadly, the best cure to my allergies (which were terrible yesterday) is cleaning my house from top to bottom, and keeping it that way.
Everything you ever wanted to know about net:

We just had a weekend of rain so whatever I’m allergic to is in full bloom. Another good rain to wash away the pollen will help alleviate the symptoms. Or when whatever it is finishes blooming, whichever comes first.
Dryness of air, thus an increase in dust, is also a problem for me. Right now it’s hot and dry and trees are blooming, thus I’m miserable evidenced by the lack of coherent writing today.
I’ll have to look into the neti pots. Looks pretty cool.
Sorry to hear you feel yucky
I did a post on them awhile ago — http://alliesanswers.com/give-it-a-try/give-it-a-try-neti-pot/466
It’s a very weird sensation, but it’s nice to get relief without taking something.
I did order one so I’ll let you know how it goes when it gets here.
[...] responses So Allie recommended I get a neti pot for my allergy head in the comments of this post. I ordered one from Peaceful Company down in Connecticut yesterday and it just came in [...]
[...] no responses Today Wolf put the fence around the garden, not that it does any good, and planted the seeds into the ground. It’s not the way we usually do things around here but I haven’t been able to play in the dirt due to these effing allergies. [...]
