I am a Massachusetts raised, New Hampshire living European-Statesian, semi-vegetarian, quadruped lovin’, member of the human race born the year of the rat and on the cusp of Capricorn and Aquarius.

I live in a small Lakes Region town of about 1,000 and love it here. Together Wolf and I worship Mother Earth by gardening organically, volunteering at the fire department, and petting the cats until they purr and drool.

I love many things: the ocean, the mountains, hiking, genealogy, traveling, reading and writing, gardening, flowers, Sun, Rain, Moon, Earth, Wind, and Fire and of course, blogging, social action, writing letters, taking photographs, walking, and hanging around our fire pit telling stories.

Howling Hill is an amalgamation of three different blogs. The first, Howling Hill, was dedicated to my garden. There was little else I posted on it. I posted maybe once a week starting in 2006. The second blog, Pensieve, is where I wrote about my faith. This blog was around for a couple months — from June 2007 to October 2007 –and again, I didn’t post very often, maybe twice a month. The last, Tangled Webs, was where I wrote about everything else. I started it in October 2007. In March 2008 I decided to combine the three into one. Because Howling Hill is the blog I’ve had the longest, I decided to delete the other two after merging them here.
