Brown and Green

Pockets of brown and green emerge from below the whiteness of snow. Air is still cool, warmer, than before. Sun is stronger, brighter, higher in Sky.

Windows open letting the trailer breathe freshness. Cats are out longer, not crying to come in so soon. Dog is sad Winter is leaving us for the season. I am thawing, waiting to blossom like the crocuses just below the soil.

Spring has come. The change is almost complete. Life will be abundant.
