You live in the northern part of Idaho, right? According to Wikipedia, Idaho’s latitude is 42*N to 49* and New Hampshire’s latitude is 42*N to 45*. Now, I have no idea what that means, but I’d say we’re pretty near each other in climate. But I bet you’re dryer because of the arid climate of the Pacific Northwest. We’re supposed to be moist, although this has been one of the driest spring’s I remember.
I’ve been to Mid West one time in August and it was humid. Our weather is a lot dryer then yours. We have had a dry spring this year. It been wet to south of us about 100 miles plus.
Usually it rains all through April in New England, but not this year. And since we didn’t get a lot of snow it’s one of the driest spring’s I remember.
