Said in that Saturday Night Live skit way.
Wolf and I eat a lot of talipa. NOT ANYMORE!
Could explain these changes in my body of late…
Yeah, every time I think it’s safe to go back in the water… A reason I feel that being a vegetarian makes life easier, every time I start to eat fish, I see something like this. Damn, that blows.
Noelle: vegetarianism is looking better and better. But then I think about all the chemicals used to keep the veggies fresh, especially in the winter, and the unhealthy growing practices and I realize I can’t go back to a diet with as many chemicals — if not more — than what I’m eating right now.
We’ve definitely cut down on our poultry/fish intake. We don’t eat mammals, which has been a very long term thing for both of us. But I can’t put more limits on my diet, because I can’t eat wheat and I feel like that rules out enough food.
I think this is probably an excellent reminder to eat a varied diet from varied sources.
Allie: Wolf has issues with gluten so limiting our diet anymore is tough. But there’s no way I’m eating farm talipa now. Since it’s almost impossible to get wild talipa I won’t be eating it anytime soon.
It’s too bad because we really like talipa. Oh well!
