Food Policy for the President-to-Be

The Ethicurean has an excellent article relating to a panel which was asked these questions

The question posed to the panelists: Imagine that you have been summoned to the new president’s side as he decides what to do about the food system. What are the most important issues on the agenda, and how did the work you’ve been doing on food policy lead you to believe this?

Please take a minute to read it. The discussion was fab and included one of our favoritist authors, Michael Pollen.

You have some real informative things on your blog.

I know Dubya decrease the FDA down to one person checking our imports.
Now look what happen to our dog food, lead level on kids toys and now the milk.
Not saying the FDA did things right. I can see a lot flaw in the FDA.
But you don’t throw the baby out with the bath water.

    Coffee is on.
